To help clarify the point of this group, here is a list of the type of people and posts that are welcome here:

- Responsible dog owners, dog lovers, or anyone else who is willing or interested in educating themselves about what it means to be a responsible pet owner.

- Rescuers, show enthusiasts, obedience and agility competitors, veterinarians, and reputable ethical purebred breeders.

- Sharing or asking for information about chihuahuas (or dogs in general). This includes: how to find a dog/puppy, health nutrition, training, rescue groups, dog-related legislation, chihuahuas in the news, etc.

- Chihuahua-related jokes or cartoons. They should not be rated more than PG-13 please.

- Photos are always welcome, either sent directly to the list or posted in our photo section on the website.

- Links to websites that sell pet products or recommendations of pet products. Please note: If you sell the product or the website/company rewards you for linking/generating business, please be sure to inform the group of that when you post.


Here is a list of the type of people and posts that are NOT welcome here:

- Troublemakers, drama queens/kings, name-callers. - Jokes, cartoons and other forwarded emails (except chihuahua-related jokes as listed above).

- Chain letters. This includes anything that has a line at the end about forwarding it to X number of people.

- Classified ads (unless approved by the moderators). This includes breeders posting classified ads for puppies they are selling.


The group is intended to be full of open-minded people. Alternate points of view are welcome, however whenever expressing your opinions please do so in a mature, respectful manner.
