"Koenig's Krieg" is written for "small battalions" (usually 12 figures at a scale of 1 figure = 50 men) and for 15mm miniatures (which are quite affordable still). However, the rules are easily upgraded in scale to either 25+mm figures or to 24 figure battalions (1 figure = 25 men).
It utilizes a unique action / initiative technique which generates a feel of the awkwardness of European musket warfare and a deliberate simplicity which I've found enables, rather than prevents, the tactical evolutions of brigade or larger forces in the period.
