Welcome to the VirtualBanjoStudio a tuition-based 5-string banjo study group! We study and teach all three-finger styles of picking (no clawhammer). We are not an email discussion list, so you will receive very few emails, and then only to notify you of significant events; therefore, "digest" and "web only" information requests are NOT available options. We meet in our VBS audio room every Sunday from 8 to 10 AM Pacific time to ask questions and get instruction from a semi-professional banjo player/teacher with 44 years of experience. Annual dues are $45.00 and are pro-rated quarterly. Once you apply for membership and are accepted, your place will be reserved for fifteen (15) days while you remit your dues to the address that will be emailed to you. Upon acceptance proceed to the FILES section and download the instructions for the audio chatroom, “Pure Voice” (all members need to have this, as lesson reviews are sent to you in this format),” and any files labelled “EBU...” At that point, you’re ready to start mastering the 5-string banjo.
